Welcome the new guy

I just realized I haven’t officially welcomed Jason Strand, the newest member of the teaching team.  I know I mentioned him in a story this past weekend, but I don’t think that’s enough.  Many of you met him a couple weeks ago when Bob introduced Jason at the Lino Lakes campus, and some of you met him in person this past weekend at the White Bear Lake campus.  I’m just getting to know Jason as well, but what I know of him I like (except for the full head of hair, but that’s my issue).  He loves God, loves his family, loves talking about Jesus, and has a really cool name.   What’s not to like?

Welcome to the team and welcome to Eagle Brook!

  1. A very special welcome to Jason Strand!!

Maybe he can help me develop a path to get from somewhere between the training wheels and the small bike, to a full small bike or hopefully the big bike…!? :-)

  2. I had a dream the other night that now we have Jason Strand on the teaching team, Bob was giving him two years to get up to speed and then Bob was going to retire. Any truth to that?? Bob is pretty young to retire. I mean, what would he do all day…?

  3. Bob retire?? One thing I know for sure, we’re going to have to pry him out of here with a crowbar. Bob loves what God is doing in and through this church too much to walk away any time soon.

  4. That’s what I was hoping you would say! :)
